How to Write a Methodology

According to Richard Kallet, “the methods section describes actions to be taken to
investigate a research problem.” Today, we plan on helping you understand and perfect your writing abilities when it comes to conducting a research project, specifically writing a research methodology. Please stay tuned for our sequel post about how to write a results section of research paper.
As stated before, the methodology of a paper is crucial because the method you choose
affects the results of the project; An unreliable method will yield defective results. Therefore, it is crucial that you understand how to write the perfect methodology. A perfect methodology should have all of the following:

Now that the essential parts of a methodology have been laid out, we feel as though people learn best when given examples. Therefore, for optimal learning, we will discuss and analyze an example of a methodology of a research paper. For some background, this research paper was the first project in our Production and Elaboration of Web Messages class. We were tasked with conducting and writing a research paper on current event news websites.
